Asake's Projects is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to skill development and empowerment for people in underserved communities. Each project we build addresses one specific gap in the path from ability to livelihood.

Supporting skill and empowerment, one project at a time.

— WHAT WE DO

Skill development. Empowerment. Focused projects.

Asake's Projects supports skill development and empowerment for people in Nigeria. Our work takes shape as focused, practical projects, each designed to close a specific gap in the path from skill to work.

Some projects provide equipment. Others may provide training, mentorship, resources, or basic amenities where the need is immediate. What connects them is a shared approach: identify a real gap, address it directly, and be honest about what changes.

Our first active project is the Sewing Machine Initiative. More projects are in development.

— IN FLIGHT

The Sewing Machine Initiative.

Practical equipment for tailors who already know how to work.

Many skilled tailors in Nigeria depend on borrowed machines, rented equipment, or unreliable access to the tool of their trade. That equipment gap shapes how often they can work, how many customer orders they can take, and how independently they can operate.

The Sewing Machine Initiative provides sewing machines to selected recipients: skilled tailors and emerging fashion entrepreneurs who have the ability but not the equipment. Open to eligible applicants regardless of gender.

— OUR FOCUS

Why Nigeria.

Nigeria is where our leadership has roots, where our community relationships are strongest, and where we can operate with the insight and accountability this work requires.

By focusing here, we can measure progress honestly, learn from each project we run, and build initiatives that hold up to real scrutiny. When one project is proven and stable, the next one begins.

Focus is not a limitation. It is what allows the work to be honest.

— HOW YOU CAN HELP

Every contribution moves a participant forward.

Whether you sponsor a sewing machine, give any amount to the general fund, or partner with us on a future project, your support helps close a specific, practical barrier. Asake's Projects is a registered 501(c)(3). All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
